Stories of the West, Told in Bronze

For Sam Huston, inspiration comes from the life around him. A native New Mexican and former rodeo cowboy, Sam creates sculptures rooted in the people, animals, landscapes, and experiences of the Southwest.

Some pieces begin with a memory. Others with a moment that makes him stop and think, that needs to be captured. From the humor and patience of working with horses to the quiet bond between father and son, the thrill of the hunt, and the unmistakable call of an elk in the mountains, there is a story behind every piece.

Sam works to capture more than what a moment looks like. He wants to capture what it felt like.

Real moments. Western life. Stories told in bronze.
